Selamat pagi (malam for you!). I'm an adult violin learner and just made my first post yesterday. I hope you keep up with your violin better than I have. It took me 20 years to get back into practicing. It's a great instrument and can make beautiful music in the right hands. Practice, practice, practice!

I just retired from my job and my wife, who came from Jakarta, and I are considering retiring in Indonesia on the south coast near Malingping, Bantan West Java. Maybe we will meet and jam together It will probably be a couple of years before we can move.

Are you taking lessons or learning on your own with the help of Fiddlerman? I used to take lessons, but haven't for a long time. This site is a great place to learn from. When I get my courage up, I'm going to submit a video and see what the critics here say I'm been impressed by the encouragement shown here for beginners and the positive feedback given to the videos submitted.
