Hi, Everyone,
I'm a newbie in the violin world. I started my violin lessons in Feb. 2018. And I'm working on Suzuki Book 3 now, struggling with the 3rd position shift.
When I was a kid, my father tried to teach me to play violin, but I was too young to appreciate it. So I learned for a few months and quitted, barely remembering anything...... Growing up, every now and then, I regretted giving up the chance to develop that hobby. So finally last Feb, my husband found me a violin teacher as a valentine gift, that's how I started/resumed my journey in the violin world.
I have a long term goal: One day I can play "butterfly lovers", a beautiful piece written based on an ancient Chinese legendary love story. For those who are interested, here's the link:

I started Feb 2019 instead of 2018......
