Hi everyone! I found this forum after watching A tune a week on YouTube. I briefly took violin lessons decades ago as a child, and have always wanted to learn to play. I’m retired so I am finally finding the time. I also have played guitar for over 40 years. Sorry I’m really stiff when I do intros like this. I promise I’m more fun when I warm up lol. Looking forward to meeting you all and learning to play!

@Delores Rose Welcome to the forum, Delores Rose! Your intro was wonderful. It took me a lot longer to introduce myself when I joined.
I hope you feel comfortable soon. I sent you an email with links to help you get started. I always found it helpful for becoming at ease by watching shared videos, the breakroom, and watching the Group Projects. I could see how the forum group members support and work with each other doing looking through those posts.

Welcome! As a relative newcomer myself (about 2 months), I can tell you that this is a great group. I took lessons one semester in junior college about 58 years ago and just two months ago, took up viola again. The accomplished folks here have made feel at home and have been very kind about my playing!
I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do!

I started exact 2 years ago this month (just turned 65).

Lots of great resources provided by Fiddlerman and FiddlerShop has a huge variety of instruments, strings, accessories.

Any particular "Tune a Week" that you are working on?
