Hello.  I'll try to keep this short...  I've been lurking here for a few weeks now and finally decided to join in.  I love music.  I love how music can take you beyond your four walls, out of this crazy life and somewhere amazing.  It keeps me sane   I've always loved music and violin has always held a special place in my heart.  I love when you hear a song and suddenly the violin comes in at just the right spot and transforms the song from great to amazing!  Anyway, the violin has always been one of those instruments that seemed too intimidating to ever seriously consider trying, well, I'm sick of dreaming about it.  Life is too short.  I'm ready to give it a go!  Need a violin first, but when that happens, watch out! Lol!  

Thanks Fiddlerman for posting those awesome Youtube videos!  I especially love the one where you play the "Dark Waltz".  Absolutely amazing.  You are truly inspiring.
