Hello. Wow, love this site! I've already quickly solved 2 problems I was having - I had my bow adjusted too tight and I have been moving my shoulder instead of just bending my elbow. Awesome!
I just started learning the violin at Christmas. I bought a violin for my husband (who has always wanted to learn) and fell in love with it. Bought myself a violin just a few days ago and now have sore fingertips. 
But I am having a blast!
I played guitar when I was younger (I'm 50 now), but haven't made any music in years. I don't know why...

Hello Karen!
I am new here also. I love the site and the people here are wonderful.
I just got a tuner in the mail on Wednesday and First Lesson in the mail today. I am off work today... between this site, my new dvd, my tuner, and all I have learned, I plan to put in two good one hour learning sessions this afternoon.
