Hello everyone. My name is Zak. I'm a 46 year old lifelong musician, music producer and dj.

I started playing music at age 6. Started with guitar. Over the years I've learned to play every type of guitar you can imagine, 6 string, acoustic, electric, 21 string, bass ... you name it. I am also proficient with alto and tenor saxophone, clarinet, keyboards, banjo, and all manner of percussion (my father was the drummer for The Coachmen and The Creepers in the 60's).

There are 3 instruments I never had the oportunity to learn that I've always wanted to play, the accordian, bagpipes and the violin. Last September for my birthday I decided I would finally make the oppotunity happen for myself and thought I should start with the hardest of the 3. I found an teacher in my area and a good rental and I've been enjoying every minute I spend with this beautiful, delicate instrument! 

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and learning a thing or two.
