Good evening,
I'm an aspiring beginner at the age of 46. I was in the band in middle and high school and played trumpet and baritone horn. I have always wanted to learn the violin. Where I grew up there were no violin teachers and my school only had band. That was way before the internet, so I look forward to the new journey!

@Ranger5186 Welcome to Fiddlerman, the best forum for learning the violin Like @AndrewH mentioned, there are a lot of us who played brass instruments in our earlier lives (Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Baritone Horn, etc).
I started violin at the age 49, but that was 20+ years ago. I'm still a beginner, but slowly improving and really enjoying it.
Keep it up and don't feel shy about sharing videos here about your progress. Great productive feedback available here.
