Hey everyone John from Rhode Island here..
I have been playing for 2 years now and have a Fiddle addiction..
I practice every single night and look forward to this forum..
Fiddlerman is the best have you ever seen so much variety and enthusiasm?

Welcome, John! It's about time we got another New Englander on here! And a Rhode Islander, at that!!
My husband and I are both originally from RI (Cranston and Warwick) and now we live just north of the border in Bellingham, MA. Our families are there, so we're in the Ocean State all the time.
If you take a look at the Traveling Fiddle page you'll see that it's visiting us right now and we took her down to Conimicut Point for a photo shoot.
Hey, maybe we'll run into each other at a fiddle event somewhere. I'll be sure to wear my Fiddlerman cap so you'll recognize me. 
Also, you might consider attending Fiddle Hell in Concord, MA in November. We're going. See the thread under Events.
As another fiddle addict, I can tell you that you've come to the right place. Lots of great info and people here (even the non-Rhode Islanders).

That is great Diane i go to the Point all the time...
I know not to many Rhode Islanders play the violin...Crooked little state for sure...lol
They are more worried about there gold chains and rims around here..:O)
Loved the video about the Traveling Fiddle maybe someday i will meet her..

Yeah, anyone carrying a violin case on Federal Hill probably has something other than a violin in it.
