Hello Everyone
Thanks for the acceptance. Im glad I found this site, it’s very motivated.
I’m a shy 🙈 person, and the little red bottom from the recording cámara 🎥 gets me so nervous that I forgot where the notes should be. 😵💫

How are you doing after 9 months of playing your violin?
What music do you like to play?
Many of us here also started playing violin, viola or cello at an older age.
I have been playing my 5 String Fiddle for 2 years and
I have 7 Grandchildren!
So, you are going to be a Great-Grandmother, soon?

thank you All for the welcoming. So, I’m not the only one who’s running out of memory because of that little button 🤗. Yes I will be a great granny’s, I’m getting old too fast, 😹. I’m learning violin for my personal challenge. I like to play popular music(non classical) when I learn more dexterity I will try to learn to play Classical pieces.
My husband plays Classical guitar (he is accomplished) and He ITV the one who has been helping me to develop as a violinist; he had a lot of patience (I can see his face turning green when I play the wrong note🙈😹) But he is always there for me.
Im still having problem with my bowing, sometimes go to the finger board and sometimes to the bridge, sometimes I play 2 string when I it’s not needed and when it’s needed I can’t do it, 😱. I have the tendency to sing the lyrics in my head when I play a song and it’s an issue because my rhythm get lost.
My husband and I found this site and we like all the music and video instructions as well as the group videos.

I get lost if I hear the song in my head, like you, rhythm is lost, and I also end out hearing what I know it should be and not what I am actually doing.
I also like the popular and need more dexterity to develop before I can tackle classical. Some of the simple classical are good for learning purposes, but anything beyond those just are frustrating to me because I am not ready.
Explore the site, and don’t forget all Fiddlerman's learning tools. They are accessed above the forum in the menu bar. His etudes for the individual strings are great!
