Hi all!
I'm quite new to the world of the strings, as I only started to play 3 weeks ago. I'm a software engineer and currently I'm employed by a company which is developing medical devices in the field of ophthalmology. In my freetime I usually go fishing in small creeks or mountain lakes. As I'm always interested in challenging things, I wanted to learn to play the violin because I met an irish guy several years ago in a surf camp, who played somme pretty neat songs in am irish pub.
Right now I'm in a cottage in the Swiss mountains to enjoy the last day of ski, before they shut down everything because of the corona virus.
So "hello" to everyone! Looking forward to great collabs!
Cheers from Switzerland

Hi Rokit - how lovely - Hope you get a fun ski day in before you leave
...I love the thought of a ski trip, the scenery, watching snowfalls, riding up the ski lift to sit in the lodge enjoying hot buttered rums...but the reality is, after multiple ski trips (much to my husbands amusement) I never got any better....would fly down with zero control basically screaming and crying thinking I was going to crash and die....
Keep your hands safe and warm....welcome to the forum.
