Hey I'm Catharina. I've been playing violin for two years for MS orchestra. I've picked up new skills, and I'm interested in learning fiddling. If y'all have any tips or music for a beginner that'd be awesome! Thanks 😊
Hello and welcome to the forum. You have a major step up already playing the instrument! I would suggest listening to this youtube and trying to learn the very first tune angeline the baker..then revist the video and play along with them. Angeline the baker is sort of a first tune. Bile or Boil them cabbage down is another one and Elk river blues is another tune thats played alot and is fairly straight forward. This video has a mix of irish and old time...the second tune in 1st video is an irish tune. have fun..the main goal!
angeline the baker lesson
