Hello everyone! I am a retired teacher who started learning violin about two years ago. Currently, I am teaching myself with the help of violin and fiddle methods, Matt Cranitch and Craig Duncan's books just to name a few. They have helped me a lot. I also go to YouTube for more advice and simply to keep my motivation up. Actually, I learned my very first song on YouTube with fiddlerman, btw, thank you for this!

@Mark that's nice to hear! I have a son too but cannot see him much for he has to travel to very remote areas because of his work.

Hey, thank you Fiddlerman! Yes, You did and before trying my new song, I was simply doing scales and follow some of Alyson's violin lessons, the piano and violin teacher. Thank you also for all the other helpful tutorials.
