Hi!

Ive always wanted to learn violin since I was a child, but my parents couldn't afford it. I was given a clarinet and played for several years picking up saxophone as well. Later learning guitar (sort of lol).

I am 36 now and have still had the urge to learn so after looking through this site for several weeks picked up my first violin yesterday and am going through all the tutorials I can watch...haven't made it past the g string yet though! ?

Welcome to the site. It is wonderful that you are now able to follow up on your long-time dream. Keep at it and you will soon be playing tunes you enjoy.

I started on the other end (E string) and am still playing mostly on the A and E strings!
