Hello,
I started playing violin around 2012 and keep continuing until now. Now i drop by to say thanks to Pierre and fellow old friend because u guys make me really fall in love with violin. I never know how to read sheet music. But thank god, i found you guys.
Reading a sheet music is a game changer. I started to reading scale, suzuki method and selvick (sorry if i spell it wrong). It's really make me improve. Then i start to see the road and the step how i can improve.
And of course, from this SITE and FORUM! I learned everything about sheet music, scale, bowing, fingering pattern, wrist movement, shoulder movement, and so on! A lot! It makes me understand the concept of music and violin.
Then, I started to experiment by myself, meet a musician and get to know other violinist. It's like when in 2013, i still crawling like a baby. This site teach me how to walk and where i should go.
Sadly, due to the time constraint and hectic schedule, I rarely visit this site. I even forget the Id and password. (OF course I feel like a Kid who forget the parent)
But, Pierre and fiddlerman friends. I will never forget you guys.
A million thanks! I love u guys! And Pierre, Thanks for the knowledge. I pray you in a pink of health and can keep doing what you do. IF i was young enough to meet you maybe i'll be in the orchestra (hahahaahaha)
and for the new violinist or fiddler, no matter how old are you, keep playing! I started violin when i was 24. There is nothing can stop you!
One more thing, I cant afford and commit to a teacher until now. Just using online sources. Of course Pierre's video on youtube.
Much love and sorry for murdering the grammar.
Zickler,
Last year I posted the same thing and few friends ask me the video of I'm playing. Maybe you can visit my instagram.
