Hello everyone just thought Id introduce myself and get to know everyone here . I'm Emanuel and currently learning how to play my favorite instrument the violin! I have always loved the sound of the violin and i was completely inspired When i heard the song Crystallize by Lindsey Stirling, after hearing that song I just had to get out and own one of these beautiful instrument for myself. Ever since then I have been practicing since January for 4 months, some of it on my own and some with the help of a friend from orchestra. So far I can only play a few parts of some songs like Viva la Vida by Coldplay, Apologize by One Republic. Surprisingly within these 4 months I did pick up on vibrato with lots of dedication and hard work. Currently my goal is to work my way up to play Crystallize the song that i fell in love which is very challenging and a fun song to play (perfect goal) :]
At the moment I do struggle reading sheet music and i hope to learn as much as i can about it. I want to be able to play off sheet music and keep a smooth rhythm while playing instead of just playing parts by memory. Well then! that's a lil bit about myself I look forward to meeting everyone here and learning as much as I can to keep pushing me toward my goals.
Hi and welcome:) I'm new to this forum too, but I learned very much already in the short time since I registered. These people are very helpful:)
I think that playing like Lindsey Stirling is a great goal. Just use more of your dedication and I'm sure you will reach it:)
Looking forward to see you around the forum!
Practice don't make perfect, practice makes permanent.

Hi Emanuel. Lindsey has that special spirit that makes her talent shine. I really enjoy watching her vids and listening to her music. Sweet > you are playing > It is a magical thing this instrument is. Great folks on this forum and they have been very helpful with my need to learn. Great place to hang and learn.
