Hello everyone.I'll keep this short. My name is Jack, I'm from London and I'm just beginning to learn violin after many years of waiting. I am also learning Japanese at the moment.
Nice to meet you all.

Welcome to the forum mate from the colonys
A lot of years ago I did my Bachelor of Arts in Japanese language. But it's been a long time. I could still read half of what you wrote. Of course the hiragana and katakana is still OK but over the years I'm loosing the kanji
How long have you been learning the violin and what are you playing?
Myself, it's been one year now and I have a number of instruments but my workhorse is my Raggetti
Seen it all. Done it all. Can't remember most of ..... What was I saying????

Greetings from my portion of the world. I can safely say from at least 3 regulars from Oregon welcomes you !!! I spent a few years in Okinawa long ago and remember about as much Japanese as it takes to order "Yakisoba to tomo ni Bīru"

@Ferret Hail to the people down under =] I've had my violin for quite some time but I've only picked it up and started learning a couple of weeks ago, I'm rather busy as well so I haven't put enough time into it to learn a song yet but I'm just getting the basics down.
Do you have a video of yourself playing?
@pfish Hello and thank you Mr. Roboto =] You're the only other person I know who's heard that song.
@Tyberius Thank you very much for the warm welcome. How was Okinawa? As odd as it may seem I've never been abroad but I intend to move to Japan in the next couple of years.
I'm going to knuckle down with my violin studies and as soon as I feel I can provide anything half decent I'll be putting up videos for some very much needed help and critique.
