Waheeey!
Another Stentor II owner! Good to meet you Alma
I thought I was forever to be the only Stentor owner here ( I also have use of a Stentor Conservatoire, but tbh prefer my II.
I only know Gothenburg and Trollhattan unfortunately, having been there on business a few years ago.
PS. I'm the only 'normal' person on this site of lovable loonies

good lookin fiddle Alma, dont be shy about posting videos, we all started the same way....rosin dust, screechin strings and cats & dogs running for cover.

You'll find that we not only help each other here, we are like a family which includes poking fun at each other from time to time. And since we are from all over this big blue marble the clashing of cultural humor gets interesting to say the least.

Cult....no, I like to think of us more like the A team, well...the V team

PS. keep an eye on Terry, he keeps trying to pass himself off as normal when clearly he wouldnt be here with us if he was

Do you know how many Swedes there are on this forum?

I think there are actually a surprising number... Although I am not technically a Swede, my great-grandfather was from Sweden. He was a fiddler, as was my grandfather.

Fred, Terry, Barry, Naska: You lot are hilarious! I'm so glad to be joining this family-cult-team thing. I'm certainly not normal, so I'm sure I'll fit right in! banana

Terry: Yes, it seems Stentors are a bit rare – surprisingly, considering they're factory produced. I googled like mad trying to find reviews of them, but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. In the end I just trusted the bloke at my local violin store who said he could recommend the II as a very good beginner's instrument.

I've never been to Trollhättan, but I have to say Stockholm is much cooler/more beautiful than Gothenburg! tongue

Alma, I became pretty darn Swedish having lived there for 20 years, speaking Swedish, making music and partying with Swedes, and even becoming a Swedish citizen (duel citizenship). Our two kids, now adults, were born in Sweden, also duel citizens. We have a lot of Swedish friends here in Fort Lauderdale as well. Swedish people are so much like Americans in so many ways though they usually need to get to know someone twice as long to let them into their zone.

You're welcome and we're glad to have your here.

I myself part Swede, my Grandfather was born in Sweden, came to America in 1910 aboard a cattle boat. I remember him telling me how he learned to run to the back end of the ship when he got sea sick.  Geez, I wonder why.  facepalm

Naska, do you dream in English????

Terry, if you're the baseline for normal,,, that makes for some pretty scary 2 & 3 standard deviations!!!  roflolroflolroflol

Alma, sounds like you're fitting in just perfectly, lol.  This really is quite a wonderful lot!

Btw, the slutty bunny still disturbs me; haaaaaaaaaaaaa
