Hey, My Name is Andi (y), i`m from vienna 32 years old and i'm a beginner. I have been learning to play the violin for a year. It's fun keeps the mind fresh as well as it is a good concentration work. I like it.... And i'm going to visit London in februaray for both to practice my english and want to learn a few english fiddle moves.

But i'm going to add a new topic about that, .... "Fiddle seesion"

Soo i'm glad that I have found this forum with all this awsome tipps and tricks...and curious what's going on here.

Hello Andy, or Andi (which do you prefer?).

Some of my genes come from near your country, but I do not know of any ancestors directly from Austria. I do have German and Swizz blood in me though... but then, I am an American Mutt, I have a lot of European countries represented within me, including England, Scotland, Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Spain... of those I know of so far. Not to mention at least two Native American tribes.

It would not surprise me at all to find that there is Austrian in my mix somewhere too.
