Hey music family! My name is Caroline. I live 40 miles West of Atlanta, Georgia. I've been here for 11 years. I was born in New York but grew up in South Florida. I was involved in music at the age of 7 when I fell in love with the piano. I loved watching concertos on the local PBS station. My parents bought me a little organ and from there I started piano lessons at a local music studio. I actually started with an accordion! I'm not sure what was the correlation between the accordion and piano but i did it for a short time until i started keyboard. From then on, I did 13 years of classical music (not all from the same studio). Middle school came and joined band and played the trombone. I ended up playing trombone from middle school thru high school marching band and orchestra. After that, which was a long time ago, i ended up not playing music anymore. I've played piano here and there and with my kids but fast forward to today, I long for the emotional that I used to get when playing music, more importantly I enjoyed playing music with other musicians! I'm sure i can find a group to join but before I do that, I'm learning the violin and am super excited to do so! I have the musical backup so for me it's understanding the strings-to-notes and holding the instrument all the while I try not to hurt myself! LOL Looking forward to chatting and learning and accomplishing great things with the violin!
