Hi all.  

I returned to the violin after a gap of many years since reaching Grade 6 in my teens.  All the technique had disappeared and re-learning has been far harder than I thought. 

I have been visiting the site for a while but am only now, in these strange times, finding time to do more. 

I play a Tim Phillips Infidel violin (Number 460)

I now live with my wife Julia on Narrowboat Tiger Lily, currently in Gloucestershire

Welcome aboard PaulH, that's a very nice looking violin...remember attending some very fun barge parties when I was younger.

And I guess time has the better of most of us with all this going on...good luck picking it back up.
