I am in my 50's. I began playing violin in my 20's (very sporadically, and then a many years hiatus.) I switched over to viola a couple of years ago when I got involved in a string quartet. I didn't have a group to play with this year, but I guess it all turned out the same, as everyone is home now. Playing in a string quartet is the most joy I ever have in life...that, and hanging out with my daughters.

Fiddlerman has a group project in the works right now, Game of Thrones. There will be a link in the PM to help you find it easily. In Fiddlerman’s message at the top of the page, in the blue box, is a link to our group project we just finished, Amazing Grace. These group projects may fill part of the gap created by the lack of quartets for you. I will find the page with submission instructions and add it to you PM.

I agree that playing chamber music is a blast. I used to do it a lot but don't have much time on my hands anymore. Hope I can get back into it again in the future.
