Hi folks,

My name is Dale & although I've played (or 'attempted to play' might be a better description lol) several instruments in my youth, I'm a complete newbie where the violin is concerned. I've been around music much of my life, always wanted to try my hand at it but never had access to a violin. So in January I decided it was time. I bought, & received on January 14th of this year, a brand new one for $27+$8 shipping= $35 total (yes you read that right... $35 for a NEW violin, bow, case & rosin.) I definitely got what I paid for... it fell apart, neck from the body, after 3 weeks lol. But not until after I realized I was in love with the violin. So I researched them intensively day & night both online and in physical shops. Soon I found the Fiddlerman/Fiddlershop, saw here was a place where 'all things good about the violin' converged and BOOM!. With Mike's help, bought a Master. It was the beginning of a new romance (not with Mike, with the Master :/ ).

Needless to say, it is absolutely beautiful & now, with your folks help, I am hopeful I'll one day develop the skill to warrant owning this instrument. So please, expect to field a host of newbie questions & bear with me through my frustrations. I'll thank you now in advance.
