Hi all from VickieD in Tucson! I’m just getting back into playing after being back in the US (spent 16 years in Saudi). After our return from overseas we spent two years in Houston and have now decided to retire in Tucson. Love it here so far. Have not been playing much for two years since when we left Saudi everything we had went into storage. I missed my violins so much I ended up buying another to have something to play. Wish I had come upon this site sooner to take advantage of Fiddlerman’s recommended violins – oh well. I am pretty much self-taught but enjoyed playing at church, school, and community events during our time in Saudi. Very much want to learn to play country fiddle – I think that is how I stumbled on to this site. Looking forward to reading all the discussions and forum posts from the past and participating in future projects.

Hi Vickie,
Welcome to the forum!
There are great resources here and very helpful and friendly people. I don't play all that much country style music but there are many other people here and I am sure they will be happy to help.
Good luck with it all, looking forward to hearing how you are progressing!
