I have a feeling that getting GAS (Nooo! That's Gear Acquisition Syndrom) will be a lot more expensive for violin than it ever was for guitar. XD

Welcome!!!! this is an awesome sight for beginners all the way to professionals! and i don't know much about guitars but i'd have to say GAS definitely has a way of making its appearances and depleting the pocket book as far as violins are concerned. but all well worth it for sure :D look forward to hearing more from you!
