Hello there from off the grid in Terlingua, TX
I turn 50 next week and teaching myself. I love the sound of the viola so moving. Hopefully now that i have a place to play I start playing.

Hi Carrie. I too am new to the forum but just wanted to say that it's nice to see more folks picking up viola and/or violin as "over 30 adults." I have you beat - I'm 66 and just starting with violin. I am loving it but it is challenging. Looking forward to hearing from you on here occasionally and following your progress. Tom
