I'm just beginning to learn to play the violin, even though I own three of them. I've always loved violin music and wanted to play the instrument. But life got in the way. I bought a very cheap violin about 10 years ago and started taking lessons, but again life got in the way. Then I inherited my fathers violin, that he found in a flea market. It was in bad shape but he loved it and because it was his I love it also.
Now it's just me, my dog and my cat, and nothing to get in the way. I spent a little more money and bought a violin from Fiddlershop. and that's how I found this forum. I plan to follow through and learn to play.
I would appreciate any advice.

I ordered the Fiddlerman Concert Violin. I originally ordered the OB 1, but I listened to the videos of the two that night. I called first thing the next day and changed my order.

So happy that you are joining us. Let us know what you are presently doing to learn and maybe we can find ways to help you out. You are also allowed and even encouraged to post progress/critique videos for advice if you dare. People are very nice here and everyone's gone through the beginning stages at one point in their lives.
