Hi! As you can see, my name is Ana Luiza (can call me just Ana).
I'm 18 years old and live in Curitiba (Brazil). I'm now at university, coursing the 2nd year of Graphic Design. I was a classical violin student, and a few weeks ago I decided to try to go to fiddle and rock style. The transition is hard, I'm having lots of difficulties to learning it, most of them are about techniques, improvisation and so on...
Fiddlerman.com was some kind of treasure I found, and I'm really happy to see that people here really help each other in the forum, with studies and whatever they can do. I'm excited about all this, and would like to congratulate all of you!

Welcome to the forum, Ana. Yes, the people here are very helpful and very nice, for the most part. LOL. I have never been on a public forum with this kind of friendship and helpfulness. It is truly amazing. I think even if one didn't play or want to learn to play that they would enjoy being here just for the friends they would make.
