I've wanted to learn since I was a kid, but it wasn't really an option then. Now that I have kids, I'm going to try to learn with them as they learn. Wish me luck! Just got our violins last week, and so far it's been a pleasant challenge.

My kids are 8 and 6. We try to keep it fun (my wife tries to keep it quiet). I will post a vid when we get to the point that we are playing something together. Practice can sometimes look a little like this though:
