Hi to all musicians, new and experienced. I am from Ohio and have been trying to get back to playing on and off for many years. For Christmas I told my husband what he was getting me and ordered a Tower Strings electric violin. I had the Fiddler Shop switch the pegs for some Perfection Planetary geared pegs. I also requested the original pegs be sent to me so that I could use them on an acoustic violin that never held tuning. I am still getting used to the Tower Strings and ironing out the glitches that come with any new instrument. So far, I love the TS violin! The customer service at Fiddler Shop is excellent. 

I have picked up a lot of great tips from the tutorials and links here on Fiddlerman. I would strongly suggest that all new members check them out. Once I get more comfortable with the new instrument and my playing I will post some videos for critique, fun, and entertainment. 

Music is the universal language understood by all. Practice, practice, practice and have fun with it.
