Hi!
I am just learning and live in Herrick Center, Pa. I have a very nice no-name fiddle I bought about a year and a half ago, but have always loved looking at the Fiddlerman violins.
So tonight I took the plunge. Ordered the Fiddlerman Concert and an extra carbon fiber bow for my other fiddle. I am working on learning without lessons, just from books and online videos. I am mostly interested in playing old time fiddle and gospel. I am looking forward to having the second fiddle (no pun intended) and getting busy with practice.

Thanks, Mark. I think it will become a passion. I have gotten to really love old time fiddling and gospel, in fact we have a group of old time fiddlers who are pretty active. I am going to one of their concerts on Friday evening in Jeffersonville, NY, and hope to get to the rest of them before they stop for the winter.
They are a bunch of nice people, some of whom I've known most of my life. So if I can get somewhat competent I might be able to play with them sometime.
