Hello, everyone. I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Louisiana and have been playing/learning the fiddle for a little over a year and a half.

I don't have a teacher so I'm pretty much doing it on my own, though my boyfriend does sort of act as my coach. He doesn't play the fiddle but he does play guitar, mandolin, and even the banjo some. It's great having someone to play with who can help me with my timing, tell me when I'm hitting a wrong note, or if I'm too sharp or flat. Mostly, I enjoy playing bluegrass, country, and gospel. I have a long way to go yet, but I'm really enjoying the journey.
