Hey everybody, it's me VioliNoob.

I have been coming to fiddlerman for little over a week now. Actually from the day that I started the violin.

My name is Ray. You can call me that, but I also listen to Noob or VN.

I am going to learn how to play the violin, purely trough the internet and help from new friends that I meet here and on several other sites. This might seem a bit onorthodox, but it's just a challenge I like to set for myself and for you lot.

A little about myself. I am 31 years old. Live in the Netherlands. For those who haven't heard of it, it's a small country in Europe and borders Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. To compare size to US standards, it's a little less than twice the size of the state of New Jersey.

I am married to a lovely woman, which I don't write because she might be reading in. Hehe

No childred. Yet.

I got the violin 5 years ago for my birthday but didn't got around to actually play it. I just traded in my hobby of gaming to playing the violin because of some sentimental personal reasons.

So far, I have seen that the fiddlerman community is from all over the world. It's a polite community and it is a very helpfull community. Also Pierre, a.k.a. Fiddlerman takes time to respond to his visitors and is always willing to help one out.

So I'm glad I found you guys.
