I took violin lessons for almost a full school year when I was in elementary school. But after I told my teacher I wanted to play Rock Violin - and she told me the only thing you could play with violin was classical - she kicked me out of the class!
I always regretted not learning. So since this year is a milestone birthday for me I decided to buy myself a violin and pick up where I left off. So glad I found Fiddlerman.

Hi Ginnysg. Bah, one can play all sorts of music on a violin. More likely the teacher just had no idea how to go about teaching how to play rock on it.
