Hello everyone good to be back I'm not new to violin nor the forum here due to some physical problems I took a brake from playing and also lost my information from the forum here.

But not being one for giving up completely on the instrument that I love I'm going to be doing a good bit of catching up on everything I was 43 years old when I started my journey into violin and made all the newbie mistakes one could make, and at age 44 went to my local university to take lessons.

But having started to see I was having shoulder problems I stepped away from playing for some time good thing is I have a good memory and this place to fall back on for advice and some instruction and I guess it didn't hurt that I kept all my video instructions from my teacher from Depauw on an SD drive either.

So I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things at the age of 51 I also bought a new toy that I will post about in the very near future.

And of course its good to be back on the forum viewing a lot of Fiddlerman video's.

Hopefully the shoulder issue is taken care of!

Also from Indiana here.
