I was able to attend a Gerry O Conner performance recently and was blown away.  Absolutely amzing fiddler in case youre new to all this.  I have him on my must listen to/most energizing to listen to list of active "sligo style" Irish fiddlers..along with Kevin Burke, Brian Conway, Dylan Foley, Seamie O Dowd..

I couldnt remember if talked about.  He teaches at workshops and will be at O Flaretys weekend in Texas this October.

That whole album is wonderful! 

He even chose to play some jigs in major keys that have 'sass & mischief', on the album. 😁

I'll definitely have to listen to more of his fiddling... and there's notation on 'The Session' for many of the tunes.
