I thought I'd share a little video I did recently - just to show the different fingerings you can use in the B part of the Golden Eagle Hornpipe.

Either use 2nd position, or play the notes an octave down, thus staying in 1st position :

Notice that I perform it headless, seeing as it's Halloween ... mwhahahaha!!!!!!

Very cool Jim. Do you have the sheetmusic or is it only by memory?

Would be cool to see it too. :)

You have a good point, should post this to the Halloween party too then. I could give you a badge as a reward. ;) On second though, no freebees here. You have to dress up and do it again.

LOL FM you slave driver.  roflol

It was a nice catchy piece. Poppy yet not seemingly difficult. Seems like one of those bits you could have several different people start at different times and keep it going like a reel for a few iterations.

Hey Pierre,

Here is the sheet music that relates to the video :

http://thesession.org/tunes/974

...when you click on that link, it's the 1st setting of the tune, and just click on the 'sheet music' button.

Doggamit, I decapitated myself to make that video - and now you want me to dress up too?

Ah, well, maybe ... as I'm already doing pole dancing for seniors at the moment, to make a living ...
