CRITTER ALERT!
I was looking at the list of tunes at the "Squirrels' Nest", many tunes caught my eye & "Buzzard" was one - the sheet music said it was composed by Scottish Fiddler/Guitarist/Vocalist, "Jonny Hardie", whom I've never heard of.
Turns out he co-founded the band, "Old Blind Dogs" and Jonny Hardie is the only band member to remain throughout it's history - starting in 1990.
Old Blind Dogs is a Scottish musical group which plays traditional Scottish folk music and Celtic music, with influences from rock, reggae, jazz, blues, and Middle Eastern music rhythms. (Wikipedia)
Jonny Hardie also teaches Fiddle at the Aberdeen City Music School!
So, I went straight to the source to hear what Buzzard should sound like.
NICE TUNE!
Listen to more of his music cd's here.
You can listen to all the GREAT tunes from the NEWEST Old Blind Dogs' album - there's also a bit more info about Jonny, at this site.
Up In The Air/Moonshine Album - Jonny Hardie
I'm very partial to the Strathspey, "Culduthel House Eileen Curren's" and the set, "Thomas McElvouge's, The Barra Boys, Dark Days" - really liked almost everything on the album, which is rare for me!
I'M IN LOVE with the 1st tune in this set! Plus you can hear other music from Old Blind Dogs through their YouTube Topic Channel.

...know I'll REALLY regret it if I don't learn "The Buzzard"!
