Spectacular! I believe it's safe to say that Traditional Gypsy music differs a bit from Gypsy Jazz. I think you can hear more of the Traditional in the intro, before they start in to Minor Swing.
The last few days I've been fooling about with the Hungarian Gypsy scale. examples of that scale for G & A as follows:
G A Bb Db D F F# (G) ... note the 3 semi-tone jump from Bb to Eb
A B C Eb E G Ab (A) 3 semi-tone jump E to G

...man, that violinist was fabulous!
