Thank you very much for the reply.  I emailed the company.  I already broke in the rosen and used the bows as I didn't notice the flaw until after I had the fiddle tuned and ready, but I explained this in the email.  Hopefully they will still exchange the just violin for me, since it appears it is defective.  I'm thinking they may have sent me a left-handed violin accidentally setup as a right handed one.

Left handed violin - that would be worth more, wouldn't it?
Smart conclusion, it didn't even occur to me. Stupid mistake on their part if that is the case. Good luck, I hope they come through. Please let us know what the outcome is.

I was thinking about picking up the Violin again. I haven't played since Jr. High School. I do not have much money and living paycheck by paycheck. I was looking for a cheap but good violin when I came too KK Music Store and saw the black Violin, which happens to be my favorite color.  Then I saw your video there and watched it.

I think what you did was great.

Going to save money and hopefully they will still have it when I get the money saved up.

Thank you,

Tracie Hicks

@ Pierre

Reading through all of these posts, it almost sounds like an infomercial and those "fake" testamonials about a product... but you aren't selling anything and you actually have done something amazing online, but slowly through many series of videos, clearly explaining how to play a violin, completely for free.

I'm glad so many people love to show their thanks.  I thank you as well!

I have a cheep violin I keep in my car to practice while I'm traveling. I don't want to keep my good one in a hot car. It's good as a beginner to practice vibrato and other things. My daughter is interested in learning to play so ia violin like this would be great to see how serious she really is. It actually sounds like a good violin.

Well, I have to say, I am impressed by kkmusicstore.  I had an issue with my violin and tuner as described above, but I emailed them and the next day they called me back.  They sent me a prepaid UPS label, I mailed the violin back and they shipped me a brand new outfit.  The new violin has a correct fretboard and the tuner works well.  I must have been unlucky with my first outfit.  I'm impressed for the level of service for such a cheap purchase.  Based on their service, I would recommend them.

Thanks again on your feedback fiddlerman.

Wish you and your daughter .best of luck. If it helps your daughter to learn and appreciate playing the violin then it is well worth it. You can always buy an finer quality violin later on.
