Oh, @RDP, my friend, I don't think you will be seeing any vids. It takes too much time to set it up and make them and then upload them. I remove them 2 weeks later. I just can't do them in an efficient manner.
Having said that, peeps, please don't start replying with how you do it, about using such and such app, etc. Even if I did it, it would be my phone. But, the phone is an audience. Just is not going to happen. Do you know how many takes it took and how much time it took to bet one tht was how I knew I could do it when I did post videos? 🥴.
Sorry, to disappoint, RDP. Getting past the audience issue is just not going to happen. I have been like that forever. The only time I do it now is for a Fiddlerman project. That takes me a loooong time to get a recording for.
If I had just a recorder that would just make a sound recording, no video, and could be transferred to my iPad and just uploaded like a photo, bypassing uploading to YouTube, that might be done, but, I have no such device.

I see what you mean about phone = audience. I used to record myself with a camera (so, no screen) and didn't have a problem with it. And then I tried with my phone (the vid quality is better and it's easier to set up) – but it does make a big difference : I hate seing myself on the phone screen while recording… dunno if it's possible to turn it black or something (?). And it affects my playing a lot.
I might resort to audio only, but the problem with audio is that one hears much more clearly all the mistakes, it's pretty depressing…

But you do, your phone! Aim it at something else, a vase of flowers, a glass figure, whatever, and just record your sound while the video is just some random object. I’ve done that when I had no desire to not be in my pajamas for a video, lol.
