Hello All once again !!!!,
This forum seems to hold a diverse group of violinists of different age groups , unique skills and many assets . I am a beginner violinist as I mention in my introduction previously and I am looking for a simple song to start playing with in perhaps less than 2 hours at least ......if any suggestions I would be grateful . Until then there seems to be a lot of free violin lessons here and so many music sheets from which I can follow along . Prefferably a song which practically sings the words heal well would be truly nice .

ode to joy, is a great tune to start with, its a beginner tne which sounds beautiful. Play each note very slowly and try to make each note as in tune as you can. You can check the notes against an electronic tuner, but make sure you remember what they sound like when correct, so eventually you recognise the notes with your ears. On violin the notes g,d,a, and e ring when you hit them right and you use these to find your way round the fingerboard.
