I decided to do some videos, starting with the first duet (Little Star) in Applebaum’s Beautiful Music for Two String Instruments – Violin Book1. I think the book is a good introduction to playing duets and playing a 2nd violin part. Full video (embedded here) goes through each section, each part for play-along.
I’ve got shorter videos on my site (globe above, or links below) under the Applebaum/Help/Misc link where I separated out the individual parts (Complete Tune for Violin1 only, Violin2 only, and Violin1 & 2 together).
