 I don't know how long it has been since we began putting the elastic on his third finger on his bowing hand to keep it down while playing but I think it was almost a month. We had used it every second of his practice and took it off yesterday for the first time. Problem solved so it does work folks. I am happy as a clam...a Maine clam.
