For any of you using the Hal Leonard Essential Elements For Strings series, I have a question (I am still awaiting an answer from Essential Elements people)

I am using the Hal Leonard Essential Elements for String to continue my violin. I have an interactive account set up for my viola book one. I thought I had set it up for my cello book, but I didn’t register my cello book.

I want to register my EE for Strings for violin. When I go to my account, I have options to add viola books 2 and 3 (which I do not have yet), but not another book for a different instrument, say violin or cello.

I contacted EE via their Contact Us, but have not heard back, probably not a long enough time, but patience is not a virtue of mine 😁. I would like to register my violin book 1, that I do have, and Violin Book 2 when I get it. I would also like to add the cello books I have.

My new cello instructor, that I start lessons with this week, uses EE for cello. So exciting. I need to register my EE Cello so I can practice those lessons with accompaniment.

I don’t know if I have to come up with three usernames and three passwords and create three accounts (one for each instrument) or if there is a way to just use one account and select the book I want to work with. When you register all three viola books, you select the book you want to work from from a list.

I tried entering the code from the violin book to the “Join a Class” but it keeps saying Error 404, or something like that, and it can’t be found. I do not see any other place on the site to enter the code. I sure hope I don’t have to have three separate accounts. I bet I do. I suspect most choose one instrument and the site is only set up for one instrument per registrant, but hoping I am wrong.

Does anyone here know?

for your information for anyone using this series with multiple instruments. I did hear from the Hal Leonard Contact Us. You do have to create an account for each instrument you have books for. No biggy.
