I watched the video on buzzing and stuff.
There is a user error that I discovered a couple of weeks ago.
If you finger G on the D string you can get a buzz (or stranger sound effect) when your LH finger is too close to the G string, and the G string's sympathetic movement brings it into contact with your fingertip. Similarly on the other strings. It took me a while to diagnose this.
