These exercises really seem to be helping me (especially the orange trick). I don't know, maybe its not the best way to learn, but since I find them helpful I figure I would share.

I just cannot seem to get my fingers to flex. When I try vibrato my fingers just slide on the strings. Gotta work on hold the bug.

thanks for the link....interesting.  Although right now I have so much I'm trying to learn, vibrato is not even on my radar.  Sometime.... but not now.

Holy-freakin-awesomeness!! I've actually got a vibrato going that doesn't sound terrible! Still have a ways to go but after recording myself and listening back I am quite pleased. Been using the orange trick for practice while watching TV at night (well, I actually use a lemon due to my big mitts :P ). It seems to be helping... Very encouraging!
