I got the rainbow connection in on of my songbooks. I tried it a few months ago, and it sounded quite boring when I played it, lol, at least now I know what it's supposed to sound like and I'm motivated to try it again. 🙂
Coolpinkone, I love Csardas! It's a long-term (and probably unachievable) goal of mine.
It's easy to play any musical instrument: all you have to do is touch the right key at the right time and the instrument will play itself. Johann S.Bach

Current homework songs. The Banshee was homework from last week, which because of my fiddle throwing a tantrum due to low humidity, I only got to work on over this past weekend; and Maid Behind the Bar is my homework tune for this week. Will be happy if I ever get them up to speed like this, lol.

And because this song is beautiful and I am addicted to her album... this song and video makes me want to go play my violin in the woods.... if it wasn't nose-hair freezing temps outside at the moment, anyway, lol.

I loved the Csardas video @coolpinkone posted. @damfino posted some good Taylor Davis, and I'll admit that I have several of her recorded efforts in my library.
I manage to play a little each day lately. Some days it's a good practice session, others it's just enough to unwind. But it's still making noise of one kind or another.
Did some repair work on my vehicle, and took down and replaced my shade netting over my garden... Replaced upper and lower ball joints and control arms on the truck, and replaced all the arches and shade netting for my aquaponics greenhouse.
Been way too busy... but what got me to break out my violin today was not violin music at all... But after listening to this, well... me and my electric had some fun 🙂
It's not violin music... but it made me want to venture into whatever my violin was willing to take me to. It got me to play... but that's me 🙂

It's Saturday... been clearing the ground for my garden expansion. Will have 22' x 40' under my shade house now. Tomato seedlings are almost ready for a new home.
@coolpinkone , most of my garden is "Aquaponic". What that is... is a combination of aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (soil less gardening). I run the fish water and fish waste through various methods of filtration, then the fish water supplies the nutrients for my plants, then is returned to the fish tanks as clean water.
Now that I've been moving stuff... time to relax and play my violin.
One thing Violin players all know... The best things in life are free... So here's some pop sounding violin music with that as the theme 🙂

Finally back to playing the violin for a little bit. Work and my other interests get in the way some times.
My weekly lesson is tomorrow, and I packed my instructor a special tip. March is the one year month for me having a violin, and taking lessons as well. Finally made it offshore fishing this past weekend, as the weather, fish, and life in general all came together to make it happen. Let's just say the freezer is well stocked... so I picked out some really nice Tuna that is vacuum packed and frozen to take as a tip. She said she absolutely loves fresh seafood. Going to harvest some lettuce in the morning as well, so a salad mix and tuna might not be what others would give to their instructors, yet after meeting with her once a week for a year, I think she'll like it.
So sometimes the complexities of my garden, or my desire to go wandering out to sea take a few days of violin playing away from me... but in reality, they just inspire me more.
So time to play some music 🙂
