I have a massive case of the practice blahs.
Short story: Warped violin bridge, sounds horrible and won't stay in tune, no monies to fix. Attempt to shape a new bridge = DIY disaster. Continue on with electric and no amp. Broken bridge again and BILLS BILLS BILLS. Violins collect dust while I save enough for someone who knows what they're doing to fix them, and have to put of getting an amp for long while. Blahs ensue as I rage at my clumsiness that makes this hobby expensive. I'm pretty sure my bridges are messed up because of something I did...
I'm super bummed at all the setbacks, but I finally have enough money to get one bridge fixed. When it gets back, I'll need to anti-blah. What do you all do to get back into awesome practice mode?

I tired the whole do-it-yourself bridge thing the first time around. ;__; Not awesome. I found a place that looks like they'll do a good job and will be taking it there either this weekend or next week. Hopefully it won't take too long to come back!
Having a goal song is probably the best way to jump start out of blah though. I can look through sheet music while I wait, and prepare for the Pirate project! =3
