Hey guys,

Does anyone have any suggestions on hand warm ups before practice? My hands are pretty cold a lot of the time, especially during the winter. I try flexing and shaking them out but that doesn't always work. I wear arm warmers as well.

Thanks so much

put your hands in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes.? I live in Florida so I dont have those issues. Put some gloves in the dryer to warm them up then put them on? for sore muscles I put a sobakawa pillow in the microwave to warm it up and it works pretty good. Cold fingers are the worst.

Trills are great for that. I lived in Sweden for 20 years.

I have a small heating pad that has a warm setting.  It is big enough that I can fold around my hand.  Nice thing is that is stays on for awhile so if my hands get cold I just stick it back in.  Don't make a sharp fold tho.  You can damage the heating pad.  If it is too warm put a towel in between it and you hand.

You could try a pair of thin bikers gloves. They usually have open fingers with the covering up to the knuckle.
