Help with notation: a number and a horizontal line

Can you help with this notation?
The first one-and-one-half measures in the last line have the number '2' and a couple horizontal lines above them, at the start of each of the horizontal lines.
What do those mean? Thanks.

I believe RU, that means that you keep your 2nd finger planted as long as the lines are there. So keep your second finger on G on the E string for those one and a half bars.
Hope that made sense lol.
Edit: just looked at it again and realised there were two lines so I think keep it down on the E and A string...
